What you'll do

Conduct operational information searches in various electronic systems to collect data and information.

Maintain effective records of data and information collected, including compilation of records for compliance inspections and conduct quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

Liaise with stakeholders and provide advice on straightforward issues, in person and virtually.

Manage a range of operational support taskings including management of cash, exhibits and fleet.

Understand and apply legislation, policy and procedures to organisational processes and in compliance with the Australian Crime Commission (ACC) Act 2022.

Complete other tasks as directed and allocate resources to assist with delivery of ACIC priorities.

What you'll gain from the experience
As an APS4 Operations Support Officer (OSO) you will be part of a national team and you will undertake a range of administrative tasks to support basic research and less complex analysis work. You will assist with allocating resources to support day to day taskings, and collect information from a wide range of sources to support agency operational activities. You will work closely with all ACIC staff, particularly operational teams, taskforces, investigators, intelligence practitioners, external partners and service providers to ensure operational activities are effectively supported. You may also be asked to be a backup for managing cash advances, exhibits support and fleet vehicles.
