About Us:
We are seeking a motivated Motel Manager who can run our business to the highest standards. You'll manage daily operations efficiently, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining a welcoming environment.
The motel welcomes applications from individuals or couples, particularly where responsibilities can be shared.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations and performance of the motel.
- Reception duties include guest check-ins, answering phone & email inquiries and handling payments.
- Ensure rooms, grounds are always well-maintained and presented to the highest standard.
- Order and replenish stock as required.
- Assist housekeeping by stripping rooms, removing rubbish, and making beds.
- Oversee the laundry, including washing/drying of towels and bed linen.
- Handle general maintenance and coordinate with tradespeople as needed.
- Prepare staff rosters and manage timesheets effectively.
- Maintain records of complaints, emergencies, and maintenance issues.
- Liaise with property owners on operational matters.
- Generate housekeeping reports and assign duties.
- Undertake housekeeping duties during quieter periods.
What We're Looking For:
- Ability to effectively manage time and staff
- Well presented, professional, warm and friendly customer service skills
- Great administrative skills and computer competency.
- Experience with motel booking system an advantage, but training can be provided.
- Basic handyman skills
- Understand that motel management can be 24/7 and be willing to assist with late check-ins or emergencies if required.
Requirements:
- Previous motel or business management experience.
- Leadership skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to address maintenance issues and staffing needs promptly.
- Current police check required.
- Must have work authorisation in Australia.

Pay: $55,998.53 – $100,248.05 per year
