About the role:
The responsibility of a Senior Design Drafter is to develop, produce and design CAD models and drawings which comply with Wolff Engineering & Design’s drawing procedures & CAD user’s manual, along with other Wolff Engineering & Design or Client specific drawing/design guidelines and standards.
Our ideal candidate will bring strong design and drafting capability, along with the ability to convert preliminary engineering concepts and inputs into practical, high-quality design drawings.
Skills & Experience Requirements
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications or Diploma
- Minimum 5+ Years of proven skills in relevant engineering discipline.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Strong understanding of the functional electrical design (Power Systems, Control Systems and Construction Design).
- Sound knowledge and understanding of HV infrastructure and construction techniques.
- Deliver detailed HV/LV electrical engineering drawings
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting and implementing design information provided by Primary Design, Civil Design and Project Engineers
- Integrate drawing files to produce 3d model and perform clash detection
- Ensure design deliverables are checked thoroughly and follow the Quality Control Process
- BIM experience (desirable but not mandatory)
- Current Queensland Open Driver’s License
