At Southport Sharks, we're looking for an energetic and hands-on Assistant Outlet Manager who is ready to grow beyond a single venue and develop their leadership capability across multiple hospitality environments.
Working alongside our Food & Beverage leadership team, you'll play a key role in supporting daily operations, developing team members, driving service standards, and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has already led a café, bar or restaurant and is looking to broaden their experience across a diverse hospitality operation.
About the Role
No two days are the same. You'll work across a variety of venues including bars, cafés and restaurants, providing operational support, coaching teams and helping leaders deliver outstanding results.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the leadership and day-to-day operation of multiple hospitality venues
- Training, coaching and developing team members to deliver exceptional service
- Leading shifts and providing hands-on operational support when required
- Assisting with rostering, stock control, compliance and service standards
- Building positive team culture and driving employee engagement
- Ensuring RSA, food safety and operational procedures are consistently followed
- Helping identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency and guest satisfaction
You'll bring:
- Previous leadership experience within a café, restaurant, bar or similar hospitality venue
- Strong knowledge across food, beverage and service operations
- A passion for training and developing team members
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A hands-on approach and willingness to jump in where needed
- Current QLD RSA certification
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including evenings and weekends
