Job Purpose
As a Senior Digital Workplace Engineer at Bupa, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering modern workplace experiences across our APAC business. As part of the Digital Workplace Engineering team, you will leverage cutting-edge technologies to design, implement, and support digital solutions that enable our people to do their best work.
We currently have roles available for a 12 month fixed-term contract, based in Melbourne, to assist up with a Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrade project in one of our business units. This role will involve some planned travel to Melbourne metro sites during the initial stages and potentially moving forward. You will perform the role of a senior engineer in developing engineering solutions, migration methods and planning, possible scripting to solve problems, hands-on upgrades and mentoring lesser experienced engineers on the project. You’ll gain exposure to a range medical devices and technologies including Intune, SCCM and other management parties, whilst working within a dedicated team and with third-party resource suppliers and vendors.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver and support Digital Workplace services aligned with Bupa’s technology strategy and architecture
- Continuously improve processes to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Provide senior technical support and SME advice across the business
- Contribute to strategic projects and key service initiatives
- Resolve service issues in line with operational processes
- Identify and mitigate risks related to Digital Workplace services
- Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative team culture
What you’ll need to make it possible
Essential Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Digital Workplace or End User Computing environments
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- o Microsoft Intune & SCCM
- o Microsoft 365 and Azure platform
- o Azure Active Directory (Entra) & Identity Management
- o Windows OS builds, upgrades and deployments
- o Group Policy and compliance/configuration management
- o PowerShell scripting capability
Technical Expertise Across
- SCCM / Endpoint Configuration Manager
- Vulnerability and patch management
- Vendor management and stakeholder engagement
Nice to Have
- SQL querying and reporting
- Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI)
- Technical documentation experience
- Experience in healthcare, retail, dental or clinical environments
- Exposure to medical devices and peripherals
