Experienced Café Chef – Breakfast & Lunch Focus

We’re on the hunt for a passionate and reliable Café Chef to join our tight-knit kitchen team at Café All Sorts Kirra – a vibrant local favourite just steps from the sand. What You’ll Do:
- Lead and execute high-volume breakfast and lunch service with consistency and speed.
- Prepare and plate a range of menu items – from eggs benedict and loaded toasties to burgers, and vibrant salads.
- Follow set recipes while contributing to Chef's specials and seasonal updates.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained to the highest level.
- Manage prep, stock rotation, ordering, and wastage minimisation.
- Work closely with front-of-house for smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
You’ll Need:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar café or short-order kitchen.
- Strong skills in breakfast-style cooking: poaching, pan-frying, grill, eggs mastery, etc.
- Ability to multi-task under pressure, especially during peak morning and lunchtime rush.
- Confidence working solo or as part of a small team.
- A great attitude, solid work ethic, and pride in presentation and consistency.
- Food Safety Certificate (essential), and chef trade qualifications

Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
