We are looking for an experienced, well presented, and hardworking hairdresser with a pleasant personality and a passion for hairstyling. The duties and responsibilities includes:
- Cut, trim, colouring and shape hairs or hairpieces (wigs), based on customers instructions, hair type and facial features, using clippers, scissors, trimmers, razors and using different type of professional colour brands.
- Conditioning, shampooing, bleaching and working with chemical solutions doing permanent and keratin treatments.
- Design traditional and contemporary hairstyles.
- Analyse clients’ hair and other physical features to determine and recommend hair treatment or suggest hairstyles and hair extensions.
- Listen to clients request and help them understand the right style for their hairs. Offer a catalogue to clients showing different hair styles to know their taste,
- Training to other staff members regrading hair products. Training juniors/assistants to take their career on next level of hairdressing.
- Professional beard and moustache grooming, trimming, shaping, and styling services for a polished appearance.
- Schedule client appointments.
- Update and maintain customer information records, such as hair services provided.
- Work under the supervision of management. Answer phone calls, and assist other staffs’ work.
- Operate cash registers to receive payments from patrons.
- Demonstrate and sell hair care products. Up selling salon products and services to meet and exceed sales targets,
- Develop new styles and techniques with ongoing training.
- Handle salon clients with care, warmly welcome them, and build strong customer relationships.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic salon environment, including equipment, tools and workstations.
- Educating clients on products, which could lead to sales and also client satisfaction.
- Provide clients with promotional information on beauty products and offer guidance on the use of new products.

Qualifications Required: To be eligible for the above position, the candidate should have at least:
Certificate III in hairdressing (with at least two years of on-the-job training) or Certificate IV in Hairdressing; OR at least three years of full-time, relevant experience in lieu of formal qualifications
Work Experience: At least one year of full-time related experience.
Remuneration: The appropriate candidate will be paid $80,000 annually plussuperannuation.
Other employment entitlements will be as per National Employment Standards and as per Fair work Instruments as prescribed by the Australian Government

Pay: $77,000.00 – $87,000.00 per year
