Disability Support Worker – Summer Hill, NSW
Revira Care Australia is currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Disability Support Worker to support an NDIS participant with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) in the Summer Hill, NSW area.
About the Role
This position involves providing community access support during weekdays and weekends. You will play an important role in assisting the participant to achieve their goals while promoting independence, safety, and community inclusion.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in the disability or community services sector.
- Experience supporting participants with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).
- Demonstrated experience in behaviour support/management.
- Competent in medication administration and management.
- Epilepsy training (or equivalent experience supporting participants with epilepsy).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing person-centred support.
Mandatory Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) (if applicable).
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance.
- Full Australian working rights.
