Cabana Bar is Sydney CBD's largest outdoor terrace — a resort-style, tropical oasis stretched over 100m in the heart of Martin Place, complete with two beach-inspired bars, an open-air kitchen, and views that make the 9-5 feel very far away. We run on "Cabana Time" — quick lunches, boozy long lunches, after-work hangs, and late-night vibes, all day, every day.

The Role
We're on the hunt for a Host who can turn a walk-in off Martin Place into a warm welcome to the tropics. As the first face guests see, you'll set the tone for the whole Cabana experience — think staycation energy from the moment they step through the door.
What You'll Be Doing

Greeting and seating guests with warmth, confidence and genuine hospitality

Managing bookings, walk-ins and the floor plan to keep the terrace flowing smoothly

Communicating clearly with the floor team to manage wait times and table turns

Handling guest queries and the occasional curveball with a cool head

Keeping the front-of-house area presentable and guest-ready at all times
You Are

A natural people-person with a warm, welcoming energy

Organised, quick-thinking and calm under pressure

Reliable, well-presented, and comfortable being the face of a busy venue

Confident communicator who works well with a fast-moving floor team

Available for casual shifts across weekdays, evenings and Saturdays
