Dulwich Hill Early Learning Centre & Preschool (DHELC), part of Inner West Preschools, is seeking passionate, reliable, and committed Casual Educators to join our team for a full-time block placement from June through to September, with the potential for extension.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent full-time hours (5 days per week) on casual rates, while working within a supportive, high-quality early childhood service.
About the Role
As a Casual Block Placement Educator, you will work across the service supporting daily routines, learning programs, and team collaboration. You will contribute to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children across various age groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Support educators in delivering high-quality early learning programs
- Assist with supervision, care, and engagement of children
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Work flexibly across different rooms and age groups
- Support the overall daily operations of the service
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III, Diploma, or working towards an ECEC qualification
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- First Aid, Anaphylaxis & Asthma (or willingness to obtain)
- Child Protection Certificate
- Food Handling Certificate
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive, flexible, and reliable approach
