About the Role
This role is based within our NDIS Day Program Centre and community settings.
You will support participants with complex support needs, including individuals with:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 3
High Support Needs
High Intensity Support Requirements
Complex Communication Needs
Behaviour Support Plans
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting participants to engage in centre-based activities
Community access and social participation
Assisting with daily living and capacity-building activities
Implementing Behaviour Support Plans and support strategies
Transporting participants to and from activities where required
Encouraging independence, skill development, and community inclusion
Completing support notes and documentation accurately
Supports may be delivered individually or within small group environments depending on participant needs and service requirements.
Available Hours
Monday to Friday
⏰ Up to 7 hours per day
Additional shifts and hours may become available as participant numbers continue to grow.
Essential Requirements
✅ Current Driver Licence
✅ Reliable and Fully Insured Vehicle
✅ NDIS Worker Screening Check
✅ Working With Children Check (WWCC)
✅ Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
✅ NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
✅ Strong Communication and Documentation Skills
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Comfortable supporting participants with high support needs and complex behaviours
Highly Regarded
Experience supporting participants with ASD Level 3
Experience implementing Behaviour Support Plans
Experience with High Intensity Supports
Experience within NDIS Day Programs
Certificate III or Certificate IV in Disability, Individual Support, Mental Health, Community Services, or a related field
