Support-Focused Cleaner
At Baldwin Care Collective, we believe cleaning is more than just a task, it's a powerful form of support.
We’re searching for a compassionate and resilient individual to join our team as a Support-Focused Cleaner. This role goes far beyond regular cleaning.
You’ll be working with NDIS participants, elderly clients, and individuals living with mental health challenges, many of whom are in vulnerable situations. Some of the spaces we clean have been neglected due to overwhelming circumstances like hoarding, trauma, or illness. Your presence and non-judgemental attitude can help restore not just a home, but a sense of dignity and peace.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has cleaning experience and is comfortable tackling challenging environments
- Brings empathy, kindness, and patience to every job
- Understands the emotional impact of their work and offers support without judgement
- Is interested in or already working within the disability or community support space
- Has a genuine desire to help people rebuild and move forward
This is hands-on, meaningful work. And while it can be tough, you’ll be fully supported by a team that values your heart as much as your hard work. We offer a safe, respectful, and team-focused environment, with management who always have your back.
About the Role:
- Casual position | $31.00 – $37.00/hour
- 20-30 hours per week flexible school hours available.
- Based in Wallsend but servicing the Hunter, Lake Macquarie & Central Coast
- Performance bonuses available
Requirements:
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current Police Check
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Work rights in Australia
