About the role: DR Brothers Pty Ltd is looking for a dependable and systematic General Clerk to become part of our motel team in Gundagai, NSW. This position is perfect for an individual with excellent administrative abilities, outstanding customer service, and the capability to perform effectively in a dynamic hospitality setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general administrative and clerical tasks.
- Recording, preparing, sorting, classifying and filing information
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries with professionalism.
- Oversee bookings, reservations, and guest information.
- Recording issue of equipment to staff
- Sorting, opening and sending mail and Photocopying and faxing documents
- Preparing reports of a routine nature
- Receiving letters and telephone messages
- Transcribing information onto computers, and proofreading and correcting copy
- May provide customers with information about services
- Handle payments and ensure precise financial documentation.
- Organize and manage filing systems and office records.
- Provide support with check-in and check-out processes as needed.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to guarantee seamless daily operations.
- Manage and stock office supplies.
- Offer assistance to motel management as required.
- May perform receptionist duties
Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience in clerical, administrative, or hospitality roles is preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer support abilities.
- Proficient computer abilities, encompassing Microsoft Office and booking systems
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Capacity to operate autonomously and collaboratively in a group.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional presentation and a positive attitude.
