About Us
Hero Sushi is an Australian-based Japanese food brand dedicated to delivering fresh, high-quality sushi and exceptional customer service. We are committed to consistency, freshness, and providing a great customer experience in a fast-paced and positive team environment.

About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic Casual Team Members to join our team and support the daily operations of our stores, including food preparation and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and customer service duties
Prepare and assemble sushi rolls to company standards (experience in roll-making highly regarded)
Take orders, serve customers, and process payments when required
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and service areas
Support daily operations in a fast-paced team environment

Shifts & Availability

Flexible availability required, including weekdays, weekends, and evenings
Casual role with varying weekly shifts based on business needs
Availability during peak trading periods is highly desirable

Pay & Conditions

Pay rates are in accordance with the Restaurant Industry Award 2020.
Applicable classifications, junior rates, casual loading and penalty rates apply where relevant.
Full training is provided with opportunities for ongoing development.

Requirements

Must hold valid Australian working rights
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Previous hospitality experience is preferred but not essential
