About the role

Temporary opportunity to provide executive level strategy and management of The Prince Charles Hospital Health Information Services. You will provide expert strategic and operational advice to the hospital executive on all matters relating to Health Information Services and its functions.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Develop and lead the overall strategic and operational planning and development of the Health Information Service and ensure the execution of departmental strategies and plans to enhance Health Information Services to TPCH including supporting future implementation of an electronic clinical rec
Lead, deliver and promote Health Information Services related requirements in support of the Digital Transformation Strategy inclusive of the integrated electronic Medical Record.
Exercise high-level professional judgement relating to national and state initiatives regarding development of patient information systems and patient data sets, including universal patient identification, and new technology such as hospital and community based electronic health records, to ensure the information needs of TPCH are m
