Interior Designer – Client-Facing & Concept Design (Mandarin Preferred)

Location: Regents Park, Sydney NSW

Salary: AUD 65K–80K + Super + Performance Incentives

Employment: Full-time, On-site

About Us

At AGC Interior, we are a Sydney-based design and construction company specialising in retail, hospitality, and commercial interiors. We are recognised for delivering modern, functional spaces with a strong focus on design quality and client collaboration.

The Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Interior Designer with strong client communication and concept design skills. You’ll focus on client-facing design, presentations, and coordination. Our Documents team handles detailed drawings, so you can dedicate more time to creative design and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Meet with clients, capture requirements, and present design concepts.
Develop proposals, mood boards, layouts, and 3D visuals.
Liaise with the Documents team to finalise drawings in line with NCC standards.
Select finishes, furniture, and materials within project budgets.
Support project managers on-site to ensure design intent is delivered.
Stay across design trends and provide creative, practical solutions.

Skills & Experience

2–4 years’ interior design experience (retail/hospitality preferred).
Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD/Enscape (basic documentation ability only).
Excellent client-facing and presentation skills.
Strong design sense with creativity and attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
English fluency; Mandarin highly regarded.
