Your Role
In this hands-on role, you will:
- Deliver high level executive support services to the Mayor, Councillors, CEO and Directors.
- Manage the end to end coordination of agendas, business papers, and minutes for Council and executive committees.
- Coordinate Citizenship ceremonies and assist with the preparation of compliance documentation.
- Uphold confidentiality and act with a high level of integrity and respect.
- Maintain accurate, timely records in alignment with compliance frameworks.
- Prepare professional correspondence, briefings and reports on behalf of the executive team.
- Work autonomously and proactively to exceed deadlines and service standards.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications including a high level of proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet programs.
- High level office administration skills.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Your Working Environment (for eligible employees)
- Work a 9 day fortnight, based on a 35 hour working week.
- Access to 2 weeks sick leave, accumulative where unused.
- Access to 1 week MyLeave per year, to be utilised for any purpose.
- Access to 6.5 weeks long service leave after 5 years of employment.

Renumeration
Salary from $72,450 to $78,245 per year + 12 % super, depending on skills, experience and qualifications in accordance with Council's Salary System and the Local Government State Award.
