Yarrawonga Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join our Residential Aged Care team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse ready to step into a leadership role, supporting the Nurse Unit Manager to deliver high-quality, person-centred care while leading and mentoring a dedicated clinical team.
As the ANUM, you will provide clinical leadership and operational support across Residential Services, coordinating safe, effective care and acting in charge of the unit in the absence of the Nurse Unit Manager. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes, a positive team culture, and compliance with Aged Care Standards.

Support the Nurse Unit Manager in the day-to-day leadership and management of Residential Services.

Coordinate safe, high-quality, person-centred care and oversee clinical operations on each shift.

Act as Nurse Unit Manager during periods of leave or absence.

Provide leadership, mentoring and clinical support to nursing staff.

Promote continuous quality improvement, risk management and compliance with Aged Care Standards.

Collaborate with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible care outcomes.

Contribute to staff education, orientation and professional development.
You will bring:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

Minimum 3–5 years' clinical nursing experience, preferably in aged care.

Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to coordinate clinical teams.

Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Sound knowledge of Aged Care Standards, accreditation requirements and person-centred care.

A commitment to continuous improvement, quality and safe care.
Management qualifications or leadership training, along with palliative care experience, will be highly regarded.
