Full Job Description

Part Time, Ongoing Contract
38 hours per fortnight

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.

Our oral health program provides a range of oral health services to clients of all ages in the North East Region. You will be working as part of a larger team who are passionate about better oral healthcare for all Victorians. We also deliver the Smile Squad School Dental Program which aims to improve the oral health of Victorian government school students.

About the role:

You will be joining a group of professional and team oriented administrative assistants who are patient focused.
We have nine well-equipped chairs and operate Monday to Friday (except public holidays), with two different shifts between 8am – 5.06pm. Hours are negotiable with the ability to work during School hours only
Work across our two clinics (Wangaratta and Benalla) providing services to our community.
We provide administrative support to the Smile Squad program

We are a dynamic and friendly practice who work across two sites. You will receive ongoing support from our Administrative Team, Dental Practice Manager and our team of clinicians and support staff. Our Region:

Wangaratta has a population of approximately 30,000 and our catchment serves a community of around 100 000 throughout the northeast.
An easy 2 ½ hours drive on the Hume freeway from Melbourne and less than an hour to Albury airport with direct flights to most of the large Australian cities.
We have over 11 schools including private Catholic and Anglican schooling options for pre-year 12.
Our region is a popular destination year-round. It boasts multiple national parks, picturesque small towns, award winning restaurants, wineries and breweries.
Whether you want to hike, mountain bike and ski in the mountains, paddle the rivers or cruise on the rail trails there is something for everyone in the northeast.

The successful applicant will benefit from:

5 weeks annual leave and an addition week for any employee working 10 or more weekend shifts. There is also the option for full time employees to be able to purchase additional leave if they wish.
