Sales Team Coordinator | Leads Supplied | Uncapped Commission

Hybrid | Full time

$70,000 base + Super + uncapped commission (OTE $130,000+)

About the role

Australian Energy Upgrades is growing and we are hiring a Sales Team Coordinator. This is not an entry level role. We want someone who already knows the rhythm of a call centre, who builds rapport in the first thirty seconds, and who understands that a well built calendar is what keeps the whole sales team firing.

Where you work is flexible. This is a hybrid role, and we will shape the mix of office and remote around the right person. We care far more about how well you do the job than which suburb you do it from.

You will call and qualify leads and book them in for an assessment with our sales consultants. You will also coordinate the calendars for our on road sales team, sequencing appointments into efficient, geographically sensible runs so our consultants spend their time in front of customers, not stuck in the car.

What you will be doing

Working the phones across fresh leads and our existing database, holding genuine, high quality conversations. Booking qualified appointments and building them into coherent daily runs for the on road sales team. Sequencing appointments by location to keep drive time down and selling time up. Keeping accurate notes and outcomes in Zoho CRM. Hitting daily and weekly targets in a team that backs you to do it.

What we are looking for

First and foremost, an excellent communicator. Someone who can hold a conversation, read a customer, build trust fast, and steer a call to a booking without sounding scripted.

Strong geographic knowledge of Melbourne, Geelong and Greater Victoria is highly regarded. You will be scheduling consultants across the region, so knowing how the areas fit together, how far apart they are, and how to cluster appointments efficiently is a real part of doing this job well.

On top of that, proven experience in a call centre, appointment setting, scheduling, dispatch, outbound sales support, or a customer contact role. You might come from energy, utilities, insurance, finance, telco, or any high volume phone or scheduling environment. What matters is that you can pick up the phone, turn a conversation into a booking, and build a calendar that makes sense.

Experience in solar and battery is advantageous but not essential. We will teach you the product, you bring the phone skills and the attitude.

You are reliable, self motivated, and you own your numbers. You are comfortable in a fast paced environment and you know how to keep customers engaged.

A $70,000 base plus super, with strong performance incentives that take realistic on target earnings past $130,000. Mornings off, the day starts at 11am. Hybrid working, with training and support based out of our North Geelong office. A steady flow of fresh leads plus an established database to work.
