This is an exciting opportunity for a Student Pharmacist to join our fast-paced, growing business!

In this fast paced, multifaceted role, you are required to perform tasks under Pharmacist supervision to the standards set by The Pharmacy Board of Australia, The Pharmacy Guild and QCPP.

At Chemist Warehouse Coolangatta we’re a supportive team where everyone helps each other out. We work in a caring environment and make sure no one is left without a hand when things get busy!

We have many opportunities to grow and the chance for our team to move into leadership roles if they are interested. Learning is a steady part of our work, and we’re encouraged to build our skills as we go.

Our Retail Manager, Sabrina and Pharmacist Manager, Ryan have both been with Chemist Warehouse for more than 10 years, and we have several long-term key team members that help us to achieve our goals every day. Their experience brings consistency and confidence to the team, and we know we can rely on each other.

We’re located just a street back from Coolangatta and Kirra Beach, which is perfect for an early morning and afternoon dip, and we’re lucky to have friendly customers and a genuinely friendly team. We’re a very busy store, with a mix of holiday goers and locals, so the pace is high and no two days are the same!

A typical day might look like:

Job Responsibilities

Assisting with customer service queries

Assisting with scripts in/out and dispensing

Counselling customers about medications

Replenishing stock and maintaining inventory levels

Skills

Ability to work well in a team and autonomously

Dedicated work ethic

Excellent customer service

Eye for detail and accuracy

Knowledge of Pharmacy products

Strong communication skills between all stakeholders

Willingness to learn and grow with the business

Physical Requirements

Repeat the same movements

Stand for long periods of time
