ABOUT MOWING & GROWING
Mowing & Growing has been operating on the Central Coast since 2005. We are an established local family business with a strong reputation for quality, reliability and professional service.
Our crews work across residential lawn mowing, acreage mowing, garden maintenance and property maintenance. Our clients stay with us because we provide a consistently high standard of work.
Our garden maintenance work is growing, and we are looking for an experienced gardener who is ready to lead a crew and help us continue developing this side of the business.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on leadership position leading a two-person garden maintenance crew across the Central Coast.
You will plan and run garden maintenance jobs, work physically alongside your offsider, maintain quality standards and ensure each property is completed properly within the allocated time.
This is not a management-only role. You will be actively involved in hedging, pruning, whipper snipping, spraying, garden maintenance, clean-ups and all other physical aspects of the work.
You will report to our Field Supervisor and work closely with the directors.
Once you are established in the role and familiar with our properties, clients and systems, there is a pathway to greater responsibility.
During peak periods, this may include supporting a second gardening crew, checking their morning equipment load-up and departure, and becoming their first point of contact for routine gardening and operational issues.
Significant matters will continue to be escalated to the Field Supervisor or directors.
Garden maintenance provides stable, year-round work and continues through winter when lawn mowing slows down.
For an experienced gardener ready to lead, this is a permanent full-time position.
If you are a strong gardener who is still building toward a leadership role, a casual position with a clear pathway to permanent employment may also be considered.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
