About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated Registered Nurse, your focus will be to ensure the provision of high-quality care to our residents to meet their daily care needs by demonstrating professional and collaborative practice and providing supervision and direction to Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) whilst ensuring they are empowered to do as much as they can for themselves.

Wed 0700-1500
Thu 1445-2215
Week 2:
Tue 1445-2215
Thu 1445-2215
Sat 1445-2215
Sun 1445-2215
About you
- Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse, with relevant qualification and experience.
- Experience assessing Aged Care Residents and formulating Care Plans
- Understanding and working knowledge of Commonwealth, State and / or Territory legislation and nursing practices.
- An understanding of and ability to ensure compliance with residential Aged Care Standards, AN-ACC requirements, Occupational Health and Safety, food safety and other professional legislative requirements
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Ability to communicate (verbally and written) effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees and volunteers
- Interpersonal skills, patience, common sense and a strong ethos of client service
- Strong initiative and ability to work without supervision and be self-motivated
- Proficiency utilising information technology, with well-developed computer skills including MS Office
