PIMS Group is an experienced underground mining contractor specialising in underground coal projects. PIMS excel by delivering quality people, equipment and innovative solutions to our business partners. We have a proud history of developing long term relationships with our clients and invite skilled, competent and dedicated mining professionals to join our team.

Position
PIMS Group are in search for an experienced and committed Painter to support one of our long-term Underground Mining Contractors with their Township Maintenance Services team.

Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have but not limited to:

An Australian recognised trade qualification in Painting and Decorating (Certificate III or equivalent).
Proven experience as a qualified painter in residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
Expertise in surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming, to ensure a flawless finish.
Proficiency in applying a variety of paints, stains, varnishes, and finishes to a range of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and exteriors.
Familiarity with painting tools and equipment such as brushes, rollers, spray guns, and sanding machines.
A solid understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS) standards and practices, with a focus on safe material handling and equipment use.
A current White Card (Construction Induction Training) and a valid manual driver's license with reliable transport.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, and supervisors.
A willingness to adapt to new techniques and tools, with a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
