About the Venue:
Situated on the stunning shores of Budgewoi Lake, the Beachcomber Hotel & Resort is one of the Central Coast's most iconic waterfront hospitality destinations. Featuring multiple bars, a bustling bistro, accommodation, live entertainment, family-friendly dining, and versatile function spaces, the venue welcomes thousands of guests each week.

Backed by a passionate team and a fast-paced kitchen, the Beachcomber is renowned for delivering quality food, exceptional service, and memorable experiences in a relaxed coastal setting.

About the Role:
We're currently seeking reliable and hardworking Kitchen Attendants on a casual basis to join our busy back-of-house team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work, and is looking to build a career in hospitality. As part of a supportive kitchen brigade, you'll play an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen while supporting the chefs and wider team during busy service periods.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate commercial dishwashing equipment and maintain kitchen cleanliness
Wash and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils and cookware
Assist chefs with basic food preparation and general kitchen duties
Maintain high food safety, hygiene and WHS standards
Assist with waste disposal, stock rotation and keeping storage areas organised
Support the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy periods
Contribute to a clean, safe and well-organised kitchen environment

About You:

Previous experience as a Kitchen Attendant, Dishwasher or in a commercial kitchen is essential
Reliable, hardworking and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude with a strong team-first approach
High attention to cleanliness, organisation and food safety
Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
Australian work rights (students are welcomed to apply)
