About the role

We are seeking a permanent part-time Bus Driver to join our Accommodation Services team, supporting our Engadine and Sylvania homes.

This is a varied and rewarding role combining safe resident transportation and interaction with residents. You'll play an important part in ensuring our residents enjoy safe outings while helping maintain welcoming, well-presented environments.

Working hours: 4 days per week (Monday - Friday) | 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

What you'll be doing

You'll safely transport residents to community outings and social activities while creating a positive experience throughout each journey.

Responsibilities include:

Safely transporting residents and passengers
Completing daily vehicle safety inspections and logbooks
Conducting scheduled route risk assessments
Assisting residents to board and exit the vehicle safely
Maintaining a clean, safe and roadworthy bus

Engaging and communicating with residents including planned activities
Following all road rules and organisational safety requirements
Providing friendly, respectful customer service to residents, families and staff

About you
You'll enjoy working with older people and take pride in providing excellent service.

To be successful, you'll have:

Current NSW Light Rigid (LR) Driver Licence
Excellent communication and customer service skills

Enjoy supporting aged people
Good problem-solving ability and sound judgement
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of workplace health and safety practices
Knowledge of aged care (desirable)
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Valid Australian working rights
Current Influenza vaccination
Current COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with Moran policy
