Manning Maternity Services offers comprehensive, woman-centred care to mothers and babies from 34 weeks of gestation, focusing on those with low to moderate risk factors, as well as post-caesarean section care.
The Maternity Unit is equipped with three birthing rooms, each with an ensuite, assessment room, and a spacious bath designed for use during labour. One of our birthing rooms has just been freshly renovated and provides a calming, nurturing atmosphere for our mothers and babies. Additionally, the unit provides 13 beds for the care of antenatal and postnatal mothers and their babies. It's a very exciting time for Manning Maternity, with a new Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) program coming into their service, allowing a greater connection to women and their families in the community. You won't be working alone. Our dedicated staff are fully supported by the Midwifery Unit Manager, Clinical Midwifery Educators, and Clinical Midwifery Specialists to ensure the highest standard of care. Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA.
