Join the dedicated administration team at the North West Cancer Centre, Tamworth Hospital, and play an important role in supporting patients throughout their cancer treatment journey. About the team
You will join a team of 17 administration staff working closely with a multidisciplinary team including medical oncologists, haematologists, radiation oncologists, nurses, allied health professionals and radiation therapists to deliver high-quality care to our patients and community.
About the role
As an Administration Officer, you will support the day-to-day operations of the North West Cancer Centre across Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology and Haematology.
Your responsibilities will include:

Providing professional reception and front-line customer service.

Scheduling and managing patient appointments.

Undertaking accurate data entry and medical record management.

Responding to telephone and email enquiries.

Providing administrative support to clinical and multidisciplinary teams.

Helping ensure patients receive a seamless, professional and compassionate experience.
The position reports directly to the Administration Manager. You will be supported by the Administration Manager and an experienced administration team. Our structured four-week buddy program will provide hands-on orientation and training across Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology and Haematology, helping you develop the skills and confidence to succeed.

What you'll be doing
To provide a high quality administrative and secretarial support service for patients experiencing chronic non-cancer pain, their families/carers, and the multidisciplinary team of Tamworth Integrated Pain Service ‘TIPS.’ To provide Executive Assistance to the Operations Manager and Pain Medicine Specialists.
