Full Job Description

Taste is a proudly Australian owned and beverage and snack food company with more than 7 years of industry experience. Our products can be found in independant stores nationwide. We are seeking an experienced sales professional who is someone energetic, commercially hungry and highly self-motivated to help us build the brand across NSW.

Someone who can walk into a store, build a genuine relationship, win a display, fix an execution issue, open a new account and make things happen!

About Taste

Taste is a proud snack & beverage company on a mission to prove that delicious and wholesome can be the same thing.

Following significant growth over the past 12 months, we’re building a high-performing team to take Taste into its next era.

The role

You’ll own Taste field sales and activation program across NSW, working across independent grocery, health food, fruit and vegetable stores, convienece stores and supermarkets.

Your job is simple: grow distribution, increase sales and make Taste unmissable in-store.

What you’ll own

· Prospecting, pitching and winning new customers

· Growing sales and distribution across existing accounts

· Building strong relationships with store managers, retailers and distributors

· Improving ranging, availability, displays and secondary locations

· Planning and running tastings, demos and local activations

· Supporting distributor training, ride-alongs and field days

· Capturing simple photo and video content from the field

· Managing your call cycle, sales pipeline, reporting and results

You’re proactive, organised and know how to follow through.

You enjoy the chase, but you also know that great salespeople are consistent, disciplined and accountable.

You’re confident starting conversations, asking for the business and building strong relationships without losing sight of the commercial outcome.

You bring energy to a team, enjoy having fun, but take your results seriously.

What you’ll likely bring

· 3–5 years of field sales experience in FMCG, food, beverage or a related category

· A track record of winning new business and growing existing accounts

· Strong merchandising and in-store activation experience

· Confidence working with independent retailers, major grocery and distributors

· Sound commercial judgement around pricing and promotions

· Experience using CRM, route-planning and reporting tools

· A current driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and Australian working rights

Health food, independent grocery, HORECA, tasting or event experience would be highly regarded.
