Our portfolio of iconic venues, each brimming with character, spans the heart of historic Sydney to the laid-back Mid-North Coast of NSW. Our venues include, The Glenmore Hotel and Billy Barry's Hotel both in Sydney, Moonee Beach Hotel, Toormina Hotel and Sawtell Hotel in Coffs Harbour, Clocktower Hotel in Grafton and the Albion Hotel Wickham in Newcastle.

We are looking for full-time Cooks.

Key responsibilities include:

Ensure every meal served is of consistent and high quality and is prepared to Welcome Hospitality's pecific recipes
Implement and adhere to directives from the kitchen management team
Effectively and efficiently manage your section and staff – mise-en-place, ordering and cleanliness
Provide support and training to junior Cooks and kitchen hands, working always as a team
Ensure a safe working environment and adheres to WH&S and Food Safety legislation and compliance requirements.
Adhere to all Welcome Hospitality's policies and procedures
Maintain and exceed industry standards in all areas of food service and experience.
Attend and actively participate in kitchen meetings.

What we are looking for in our candidates:

Relevant Qualifications - Commercial Cookery
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience with coaching and mentoring junior staff
Have the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A passion for excellent quality food, produce and service
Be reliable, punctual and hard workings
Have strong communication skills
Be able to maintain kitchen procedures and WHS standards
Have sound knowledge of food, health & safety
Available to work a mix of weekends & nights
Have Australian working rights
Able to work Full time - 38hrs/week

Salary from $79,500 - $82,500 per year, depending on experience.
