Full Job Description

Job description

- Monitor and consolidate daily cash positions, supporting inter company cash movements and liquidity management

- Develop and enhance commodity risk and hedging reports, ensuring compliance with commodity price risk management policies

- Assist with inventory finance solutions and treasury workflows, including confirmations, authorizations, payments and settlements

- Maintain accurate trade registers and records across grain, currency, and interest rate hedging programs

- Foster strong relationships with banks and internal stakeholders, managing funding, banking, and insurance inquiries

- Oversee transaction banking administration including KYC processes, account openings/closures, and access management

- Prepare weekly cash forecasts and funding models, identifying and addressing variances

- Support debts and derivative reporting, mark-to-market analysis, and monthly income interest and fee reconciliations

- Assist in maintaining policy audit

- Provide audit support and recommend improvements to strengthen treasury controls and reporting

- Assisting businesses in achieving their objectives within the Bank’s risk management framework

- Contribute to ad hoc Treasury & Risk projects as required

About You

- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business or Economies (CA/CPA preferred but not essential)

- -5 years’ experience in a finance or liquidity risk management role within a medium or large corporate environment

- Relevant experience in Treasury, trading desk or related risk management experience in a financial institution

- Experience dealing Money & Derivatives Markets to manage the bank's overall cash and liquidity position

- Knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters and/or relevant trade and risk management systems

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

- Understanding of banking and treasury practice

- Develop interest rate risk management strategies

- Debt investor relationship management

- Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders (internal teams, actuaries, auditors, brokers) and exert influence to deliver on commitments

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn insight into action and drive process efficiencies
