Administration Supervisor

Golding is currently recruiting for an Administration Supervisor to lead the Site Administration Team at South Walker Creek

Golding is a successful mining, urban, and civil infrastructure project services business with operations across Queensland and South Australia. We are reliable and cost-effective, working hard to achieve successful outcomes for our clients by partnering with them in ways that create and deliver value.

Golding is currently recruiting for an Administration Supervisor to lead the Site Administration Team at South Walker Creek. Based on site, the successful candidate will be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, have experience in a similar supervisory role, and be capable of managing a high volume of work.

A proactive and organised work style, combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, is essential for success in this role. Previous site-based experience within a mining environment is essential. Local candidates are encouraged to apply; camp accommodation is also available.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the work of Administration Officers across Production, Maintenance, and Document Control.
Support operational teams, including Production, Maintenance, and Safety, Health and Environment (SHE), with administrative functions such as payroll and leave processing, data capture and reporting, and internal governance compliance.
Assist with month-end financial processes, including running reports to identify variances and taking corrective action within delegated authority.
Accurately enter Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Goods Receipts (GRs) into SAP.
Ensure Purchase-to-Pay measures are effectively managed and take appropriate action to resolve aged items, including the close-out of expired purchase orders.
Provide a professional point of contact for project personnel, visitors, and client representatives.
Maintain accurate records, site-specific correspondence registers, and document control systems.
Prepare reports and other documentation as required by your Manager.

Capability Requirements

Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the mining industry or a related sector.
Strong computer and administrative skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships.
Demonstrated drive, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
