As we continue to grow, we are looking for a driven Senior Sales Representative to help build strong customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and contribute to the continued success of our business. This is a chance to own your own territory, build genuine national and global community connections and represent a brand that proudly supports Australia’s Food Services industry, Travel and Restaurant communities. We are building a Sales Team that’s hungry, commercially savvy and ready to celebrate their successes.

The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Qld Sales Team as a Senior Sales Representative. In this role you will be responsible for winning new business across an existing territory, expanding work with existing B2B ; and identifying and securing new business throughout the Gold Coast and Byron Bay areas. Reporting to the Queensland State Sales Manager, this is a stand alone role that is backed by a business that has been trusted by Chefs and Food Service Operators for over 40 years with the autonomy to manage your own territory like it is yours.

At Top Cuts, we bring people together through food and in this role, you bring that purpose to life in every conversation, every delivery saved, every menu you help shape. No two days will look the same. One morning you’re helping a chef find a solution to a supply issue; that afternoon you’re uncovering growth opportunities with a client who has been stagnate and rediscovering our offering; the next day you’re building out a plan for a new customer who’s ready to scale.

As a key senior member of the Sales team, you will be responsible for growing and winning new business in your own territory through the distribution and product visibility of our portfolio. You will be engaging with non-trading or lapsed customers across multiple channels including Restaurants, Service businesses, Catering businesses and deal with Operational decision makers, Chefs and Business owners.

Responsibilities include working with internal Senior Leadership Team to identify the best offer to convert non-trading opportunities;

Creating an action plan to identify target customers in your Region
Prospect, pitch and win new customers across the Gold Coast and Byron Bay region
Working with your peers to generate and follow up on warm leads
Managing customer on-boarding from account set up to transition
Build authentic relationships with Chefs, Venue Owners and Purchasing decision makers.
Lead the state on new business strategy, providing insights to the broader sales team on prospects and wins

About You

Extensive demonstrated sales experience in an FMCG or Food Services company experience (Venue or Operations – Meat is not essential – we will teach you about the Meat) Meat or Perishables is a bonus but not essential.
You are a sharp and natural hunter who loves the challenge of new securing new business as much as the win.
You have the ability to achieve targets, manage priorities and gain buy in with the customer to increase overall distribution for Top Cuts in your region.
Cold Calling is an extensive part of your role, you must be able to build rapport quickly and authentically with decision makers.
Commercial acumen – understanding the market and industry dynamics, utilizing volume, rates, mix targets and pricing strategies.
Passionate, self driven with key strengths in planning, follow up and executive with demonstrated courage and resilience to have constructive and challenging conversations.
Chefs with strong commercial instincts and a desire to move into sales are encouraged to apply.

Not Negotiable Must Haves

Must hold a current Drivers License
You must possess the right to live and work in Australia
Min 5 years Sales Experience with demonstrable ability to grow and maintain sales territory
The successful applicant will be required to complete our pre-employment assessments including Police Check and Medical.
