Join our team as a Clinical Nurse Consultant and play a key leadership role in delivering expert respiratory care and improving patient outcomes across the service. You will provide advanced clinical expertise, lead evidence-based practice, develop and evaluate care management plans for patients with complex health needs, and contribute to innovative hospital avoidance strategies that support patients to receive safe, high-quality care closer to home.

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience.
Approved post graduate nursing qualifications in a field relevant to the specialty field or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the organisation.
Demonstrated evidence of strategies used to maintain current knowledge of clinical practice advances and research in the relevant specialty.
Demonstrated ability to apply expert knowledge to provide safe compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs.
Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.
Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of advanced evidenced based nursing care.
Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.
