Southern Cross Transit (SCT) is one of the largest School and Charter bus operators in the Greater Brisbane region, providing services to the Qld Government and numerous private schools.

The Role:

SCT is seeking fresh and highly motivated Bus Driver’s to join our team at our Karalee depot, and also at our new Lockyer Valley depot.

As a Bus Driver, you will assist customers in reaching their destinations and meet their commitments by providing a safe and comfortable journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering a prompt and reliable transport service
Carry out pre departure checks and reporting mechanical defects
Drive effectively and efficiently while ensuring passengers safety and comfort
Maintain up to date knowledge of road laws and company policies
Accurately completing recording procedures such as daily journals, time records, customer loading data and fuel and charter records

Skills, Attributes and Experience which are essential to succeed in this role:

Have or willing to obtain a Heavy Vehicle Licence (MR and above)
Have or willing to obtain a Qld Transport Bus Drivers Authority
Provide your current driving history
Knowledge and understanding of Work, Health and Safety Practices
Always act SAFELY
Have excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE skills
Have excellent COMMUNICATION skills
Flexibility for split shifts
