About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and professional Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis. As the first point of contact for clients, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and positive experience while supporting the smooth day to day operation of the hospital.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys building relationships with clients, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering outstanding client care to patients and their owners
- Managing client enquiries professionally in person, by phone, and via email
- Supporting the day to day appointment and admission schedule
- Completing general administration and clerical duties
- Taking payments and managing invoices and accounts
- Ensuring front of house areas are welcoming, clean, and organised
- Assisting across different areas of the hospital as required
- Working collaboratively with the clinical team to support exceptional patient care
What We're Looking For
- Previous reception or customer service experience is essential
- Veterinary industry reception experience highly regarded but not essential
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills with a warm and professional approach
- Confidence managing multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
- A positive, adaptable attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- A team first mindset and commitment to contributing to a supportive workplace culture
- A genuine love for animals and the people who care for them
