Mayfield Early Education Wulguru is seeking a full-time Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator/Childcare Worker to join our established and supportive team in Wulguru, Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality early education and care every single day.

Position Details

Position: Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator/Childcare Worker
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Mayfield Early Education Wulguru, Queensland
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year + superannuation (commensurate with skills and experience)

Key Responsibilities

Plan and implement play-based learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a safe and inclusive environment
Contribute to documentation, observations, and learning outcomes
Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework and service policies
Work across operating hours on a rotating roster between 6:30am – 6:30pm

Skills and Experience Required

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved qualification or equivalent)
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience working in an early childhood education setting.
Demonstrated knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and Child Safe Standards
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to contribute to a positive, compliant, and high-quality learning environment

Mandatory Requirements

Valid Working with Children Check / Blue Card
Child Protection training
First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain)
Food Safety training (or willingness to obtain)
