Suburban Pool Care – North Shore
Experienced Residential Pool Service Technician
$32–$42 per hour + super | Vehicle, tools and training provided
Suburban Pool Care is a locally owned, owner-operated pool business based in Pymble, servicing residential pools across Sydney’s North Shore and Northern Beaches.
I’m looking for an experienced pool service technician who knows residential pools, takes pride in their work and is good with Customers.
You’ll be given your own daily run through Pooltrackr, an automatic Ford Falcon ute for work, quality tools and equipment, and then left to manage your jobs properly. It’s a relaxed role, working outdoors with a small, straightforward business, but I need someone switched on who represents the business well with customers.
Pay is $32–$42 per hour plus super, depending on your actual experience, knowledge and ability. If you are a genuinely capable technician, you’ll be paid accordingly.
What you’ll be doing
- Regular residential pool and spa servicing
- Water testing, balancing and chemical treatments
- Green pool recoveries and algae treatment
- Cleaning, vacuuming, brushing and maintaining pool equipment
- Identifying and troubleshooting common equipment faults
- Taking service notes and photos through the Pooltrackr app
- Speaking with customers professionally
- Flagging repair work and helping keep customers’ pools looking great
What I’m looking for
- Proven experience servicing residential pools is essential
- Solid knowledge of water chemistry, chlorinators, pumps, filters and cleaners
- Able to diagnose common pool equipment issues without needing someone beside you all day
- Reliable, organised and comfortable working independently
- Friendly, professional and good with customers
- Comfortable using a phone app for job notes, photos and scheduling
- Valid Australian driver licence
- Physically capable of the work, including lifting equipment and handling pool chemicals safely
- White Card and repair/install experience are a bonus, but not essential
Training can be provided where needed, particularly on our systems, procedures and equipment. The main thing is that you already understand residential pool servicing and have a good work ethic.
This can suit the right person looking for either regular part-time work or a full-time role. There is good long-term potential for someone who is dependable and good at what they do.
If that sounds like you, send through your resume and a short note about your residential pool servicing experience.
