About the Role
JBS Carriers is seeking experienced Livestock Drivers to play a vital role in moving cattle safely and efficiently across our supply chain; from feedlots and paddocks to saleyards and processing facilities. These full-time opportunities are available in:

The annual salary for this role is not less than $79,422 plus superannuation.
Role Responsibilities:
- Transporting livestock safely in line with animal welfare standards and industry regulations to and from sites
- Operating prime movers and equipment efficiently and responsibly
- Conducting daily pre-start checks to ensure vehicles are road-ready
- Maintaining compliance with NHVR, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and transport regulations
- Working under Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) requirements
- Upholding workplace health, safety and environmental standards
- Supporting safe and effective livestock loading and unloading
- Efficient operation of the Prime Mover and associated equipment
- Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety Requirements
- Work as part of a team and individually to accomplish tasks and manage workloads.
- Adhere to transport regulations including Fatigue Management, Chain of Responsibility and Mass and Maintenance under NHVR;
- Ensure Compliance with all Policies and ProceduresComplete Safe Driving and Vehicle Inspections as required (Pre-Trip Fatigue and Daily Vehicle Inspections Checks) and to hand in at the end of each shift and/or week, along with applicable diary pages
- To present for work in a condition that is fit to perform required tasksReport all vehicle faults to the Manager and complete a fault report formTo keep in regular contact during trips with management
- Report all Incidents/Injuries as required
Skills/Competencies:
- A current MC Driver’s Licence
- Ideally 2+ years’ experience in MC driving
- Livestock transport or handling experience (highly regarded)
- A solid and reliable traffic history
- Strong livestock handling knowledge and care standards
- BFM certification (or willingness to obtain)
- A strong work ethic and team-focused attitude
- Physical capability to manage loading tasks and access equipment
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends
- Familiarity with the regions is an advantage
