The Opportunity
Our Lysaght business is looking for an Operations Team Member to join the production team based at our brand-new Port Macquarie, NSW site. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.
Our team members play a vital role in our production environment. They operate machinery to create smarter solutions for our customers, while monitoring product quality, remaining committed to their safety and that of the team.
Working Monday to Friday in a day-shift position, you will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of our technician role allowing for future career development opportunities.
What Will You Do?
This diverse role will offer you variety each day, providing you with scope to showcase your skills that impacts the safety of our people as well as the quality of our products. You will:

operate a forklift, roll-formers and processing machinery
-
preload and unload our products to trucks
-
safely pack and strap our steel products on site to create specific orders

support the team with general tasks

Being a reliable and dedicated individual with a willingness to learn and develop yourself, you will also bring:

experience in a similar operations environment

a valid forklift ticket or willingness to obtain one
