Are you highly organized, efficient, and ready to make an impact in a fast-paced, growing public accounting firm? Based in the heart of Penrith, our firm is looking for a motivated and proactive Practice Manager & Administrator to join our office administration and practice management team.
About the Role:
As a Practice Manager & Administrator, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of the firm by supporting various aspects of office administration and practice management. This is a part-time position and full time in the future for the right candidate ), and you will be directly involved in:
Candidates must have 1-3 years of experience in public accounting or practice management.
- Locations: Working at 3 different locations, Penrith, Faulconbridge and Katoomba.
- Admin as office manager: purchasing daily offices needed, clearing the offices; copy and save documents and greeting the visitors and clients
- Sales: Be able to sell and book online meetings with potential clients
- Reception & Phones: Managing client interactions with professionalism and ease.
- Email Management: Handling a high volume of emails efficiently and accurately.
- Database Maintenance: Ensuring the accuracy of client data and internal systems.
- Filing & Archive Management: Keeping our files organized and accessible.
- Reports and updates workloads for the employees: tracking incomplete returns, ensuring timely completion
- ATO Portal & ASIC Maintenance: Maintaining up-to-date compliance records.

Tech-Savvy: You are proficient with Karbon, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and ideally Xero/Xero XPM.
A natural aptitude for numbers is essential.
Previous experience with Xero/Xero XPM is required for this position.
Excellent Communicator: You have strong people skills and can interact professionally with clients and team members.
Adaptable & Resilient: You can stay calm under pressure and pivot when needed. You thrive in environments that require flexibility and agility.
Fast Learner: You pick up new tools and processes quickly and with confidence.
