Fairy Wishes Childrens Parties and Corporate Events are seeking Confident, Bubbly Childrens Performers including Dancers, Singers and Actors who have a passion for working with young children and working in the performing arts.
Candidates should be able to easily take on the role of a Fairy, Princess or character to host a childrens birthday party in character or perform at a kid’s event such as Festival, Shopping Centre, Corporate Kids Event and Christmas
The work is primarily on weekends and school holidays between the hours of 10am – 4pm and all parties are located in Sydney, closest to where you are based with options to travel around Sydney if you prefer.
Role description:
- Entertaining Children at a Birthday party in character such as a Sparkling Fairy, Princess, Mermaid or themed character (all supplied by us)
- Conducting fun party games (Limbo, Musical Statues, Freeze Game, face painting, balloon animals etc) with all props and training provided.
- Be able to create a fun and exciting party atmosphere and follow a set routine of games and activities
- Perform at larger events such as a Festival, Shopping centre event or kids event
Types of other work we do
· Hosting birthday parties in character
· Entertaining children at a corporate event
· Face Painting, Balloon Bending, Kids Entertainment in Shopping Centres, Family Fun Days, Festivals, Santas arrival, Christmas casual work and NRL Events
Requirements:
- You must have your own car /licence or reliable method of transportation
- Have or are willing to obtain a current Working with Children check
- Be able to travel to a party or event in costume
- Be well presented and reliable
- You must be enthusiastic, energetic and be confident to work with children
- Must be ready to Have FUN
- Dance, Acting or Performing experience (including taking lessons) is prefered however not essential.
