#Role

Hutchies is seeking a motivated and skilled Site Foreman to join our hard working team based in our Rockhampton office on a full time permanent basis.

This role reports to the Site Manager and Project Team, working closely together to achieve our strategic goals objectives and contributing to the success of our projects.

#Responsibilities

As a Site Foreman, your responsibilities will include:

Supervise and manage day to day operations, including subcontractors, labourers, and materials
Ensure projects are planned and delivered according to agreed scope, timelines, and financial targets
Attend project sites and participate in site meetings as needed
Ensure construction is carried out accurately in accordance with design plans and quality standards
Forecast and plan projects' activities, materials, and resources to ensure efficient execution
Closely monitor and manage variations across the project lifecycle
Oversee the planning, delivery, and tracking of the project's progress
Demonstrate strong leadership, accountability, and inspiration for project teams
Lead by example and ensure compliance with company culture, rules, and procedures
Proactively plan workflow on a daily basis to meet specifications and deadlines
Ensure all projects health & safety requirements are met

#Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skill
Strong knowledge of market conditions, construction techniques, and industry standards
Ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independently
Strong relationship building with all relevant stakeholders
A down to earth, fun, friendly and professional approach to your work
A Carpentry Background will be highly regarded
