The Psychologist will provide professional and effective psychological services that are consumer-focused and recovery oriented; offering assessment, psycho-education, treatment planning and management, psychological interventions and continuing care for consumers with chronic mental health needs.
The Psychologist will use a scientist-practitioner model and provide best practice, evidence-based interventions in order to assist consumer transition to the least restrictive environment and to improve their quality of life. In addition The Psychologist will strive to empower and support consumers in the recovery process. The Psychologist will also collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and contribute to the evaluation of clinical outcomes of services.

In the Shoalhaven, ISLHD operates three hospital sites: David Berry Hospital, Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital and Milton Ulladulla Hospital.

- Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Hold a Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology or some other recognised clinical area in psychology. The postgraduate qualifications must be of no less than two years full time duration (or part-time equivalent) and include professional clinical coursework, clinical training and supervised placement experience as core components.
- Valid NSW Drivers Licence
This is a temporary leave relief position until 24 January 2027 with the possibility of extension.
