About No Trace Co

No Trace Co is a growing wholesale distributor of sustainable food packaging and hospitality supplies. We support cafés, restaurants, schools and caterers with reliable products, honest pricing and responsive service.

We’re seeking confident and motivated Business Development Representatives to help expand our customer base across Northern Sydney.

The Business Development Representative is responsible for expanding No Trace Co’s customer base across Northern Sydney.

The position focuses primarily on identifying, approaching and qualifying prospective customers through face-to-face visits, telephone outreach, email, networking and referrals.

This is a hands-on field-sales position suited to someone who is confident speaking with business owners, comfortable initiating new conversations and motivated by measurable results.

The representative will introduce No Trace Co, understand prospective customers’ operational and packaging requirements, generate qualified opportunities and support the BDM in converting those opportunities into active accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting and territory development
Research and identify suitable cafés, restaurants, caterers, schools and food-service businesses.
Build and maintain an organised territory prospect list.
Conduct regular face-to-face visits to prospective customers.
Make outbound telephone calls and send personalised follow-up emails.
Develop leads through local networking, referrals and existing customer relationships.
Identify the relevant owner, manager or purchasing decision-maker within each business.

About You

You are:

Confident approaching business owners
Friendly, professional and comfortable meeting new people
Persistent and able to handle rejection positively
Organised and consistent with follow-ups
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Interested in developing a career in sales or account management
Previous sales, hospitality, retail or customer-service experience is advantageous but not essential.

Requirements

Current Australian driver licence and reliable vehicle
Availability for 15–20 hours across two or three weekdays
Ability to travel throughout Northern Sydney
Appropriate Australian working rights

What We Offer

$37–$40 per hour plus super
Commission of up to $200 per activated new account
Reimbursement for approved business travel
Flexible weekday hours
Training and direct support from the Founder
Potential to increase hours and progress into a permanent sales role
