Come join our fantastic team of Registered Nurses in the Cardiac CATH LAB! Located on Sydney's Lower North Shore, Royal North Shore Hospital is a state-of-the-art Level 1 Trauma and major tertiary referral center that has been a center of clinical excellence for many years.
A great opportunity exists in the Interventional Cardiology Service department for a highly motivated Registered Nurse with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our team. RNSH features advanced Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Laboratories equipped for complex interventional cardiac procedures, including stent insertion, cardiac device implantation, and structural heart interventions. Our dynamic, innovative team offers development opportunities for all staff and a caring environment for high-quality, patient-centered care.
To be successful, you will be expected to work within our comprehensive Interventional Cardiology department comprising Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Laboratories. Our team delivers cutting-edge interventional procedures, including percutaneous valve replacements (TAVI, Mitral, and Tricuspid), left atrial appendage closure, paravalvular leak closure, PFO/ASD closures, AF ablation, and complex cardiac resynchronization therapy.
As a major tertiary centre, we also provide specialized acute care and advanced cardiac interventions for complex, high-acuity patients across Northern Sydney.
The successful applicant(s) will be expected to work a Monday to Friday rotating roster, with on-call coverage for overnights and weekends.
