Location: Leeton Early Learning Centre, Valencia Street, LEETON

Department: Children's Services

Compensation: Hourly Rate AUD $39.41 - $39.41

Employment type: Casual/Vacation

Work Arrangement: On-site

Applications are invited for two Certificate III Qualified Early Childhood Educators to join the team on a Casual basis at Leeton Early Learning Centre.

Applicants for this position will hold a minimum of Cert III in Children Services 0-5 years and will have solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team.

Child Safety Requirement
We are committed to providing a child-safe environment. All applicants must be over 18 years of age and are required to hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) and a current Police Check. A current First Aid Certificate would be desirable, or must be willing to obtain.

The primary purpose of the position:

Provide active supervision, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children.
Assist with the development, implementation and evaluation of activity programs

Salary and Conditions: The position will attract an hourly rate of pay of Grade 6 Entry $39.41 per hour (inclusive of casual loading). 12% Superannuation is applicable to this position.

Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.

Prior to commencement the successful applicant will be required to undergo a Functional Assessment which includes an Alcohol & Other Drug screening. It is also a requirement, on commencement, to provide evidence of being Covid-19 vaccinated.
