About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and reliable Chinese (Mandarin) Tutor to teach small groups of young children in Traralgon.

- Class Structure: Teach engaging 45-minute group classes for young learners.
- Weekly Hours: Teaching time plus an additional 2 hours paid per week to cover your lesson planning, preparation, and travel time.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver fun, interactive, and age-appropriate Mandarin lessons to small groups of young children.
- Use creative teaching methods (music, arts & crafts, role-play, games) to keep students engaged.
- Prepare simple lesson plans and activities tailored to children’s learning speeds.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for all students.
- Build friendly relationships with parents to share positive progress updates.
What We Are Looking For
- Language Proficiency: Native or fluent speaker of standard Mandarin with clear pronunciation.
- Experience: Prior experience teaching, tutoring, or working with young children (early childhood or primary age).
- Skills: Energetic, patient, creative, and great at keeping young kids focused and excited.
- Requirements:
- Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) (or willingness to obtain one).
- Reliable transport to and from our Traralgon class location.
- Australian Working Rights.
