About the role
This position is a full-time, permanent role in the Water and Sewerage team, based at Moruya. The successful candidate will use a range of skills to machine, fabricate and repair components/equipment and perform other metal trade tasks as required. To actively engage in and progress innovation and system improvements.
The starting salary for this position is $3,242.05 per fortnight, plus 12% superannuation.

About you
The successful applicant will possess a Trade Certificate with relevant experience in fitting/machining/assembly process, and the ability to work well in a small team. Your interest in the field, strong communication and self-motivated approach will be a standout and contribute to your overall success and job satisfaction. Your application will further demonstrate:
- Experience working on fixed and mobile plant, light vehicles, heavy vehicles and earthmoving equipment.
- Fitness and ability to work at heights and in underground/confined spaces.
- Ability to work productively on your own, and harmoniously in a small team.
- Ability to utilise technology and software programs.

Pre‑employment Checks:
As part of our recruitment process, you may be asked to provide contact details for two work‑related referees. These will be collected at the interview stage. At least one referee should be your current supervisor or a recent past supervisor (of at least three months).
