We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Operations Specialist to join our Employee Support team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in supporting our people across the full employee lifecycle.

This role will act as the 2IC to the Employee Support Manager, providing support across the broader Employee Support function and acting as the primary escalation point in their absence. You will have ample opportunity to build on your leadership abilities, mentor and support team members, contribute to key projects and develop your capability across the wider People function.

About the Role

As a Human Resources Operations Specialist, you will provide high quality HR support to employees and managers across TheirCare. You will be a trusted point of contact for HR policies, processes, systems, onboarding, compliance and employee lifecycle matters.

You will take ownership of moderately complex enquiries, oversee the accuracy of employee data and documentation, support compliance obligations, coordinate onboarding processes, and identify opportunities to improve the way we support our people.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, solving problems, supporting others and taking ownership of meaningful work.

This is a hybrid role with 2 days WFH and 3 days in office. Earn up to $90,000 per annum depending on experience.

In this role, you will:

Act as the 2IC to the Employee Support Manager, providing leadership support across the Employee Support function.
Act as the primary escalation point for departments in the absence of the Employee Support Manager.
Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, processes, systems and employee lifecycle matters.
Deliver end-to-end HR support across onboarding, contract variations, promotions, transfers, training and terminations.
Oversee the accuracy and integrity of employee records, HRIS data and lifecycle documentation.
Support the Employee Support team by sharing knowledge, mentoring team members and building capability.
Manage and resolve moderately complex employee and manager enquiries with sound judgement and a solutions-focused approach.
Support compliance oversight, audits, data validation and risk management activities.
Prepare and contribute to HR reporting, workforce insights and compliance reporting.
Identify opportunities to improve HR systems, processes and workflows.
Support key People Division projects and initiatives.

About You

You will be an experienced HR professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and build on their leadership capabilities.

You will bring:

2+ years previous experience in an HR Coordinator or generalist HR role.
Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes, HR administration and compliance requirements.
A understanding of employment legislation, awards and HR policies.
Experience working in a fast-paced or high-volume environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
The ability to confidently provide advice and resolve moderately complex enquiries.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience using HRIS or workforce management systems. Experience with Humanforce HR is advantageous.
A genuine interest in supporting, mentoring and developing others.
High levels of confidentiality, sound judgement and professionalism.
